Mission:
To educate the public and physicians on the need for genetic testing if an individual has a significant family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer.

Description:
We have accomplished a lot since we began or organization the fall of 07. Through the Spring Flingg event in May of 2008, CheckYourGenes.org has raised enough money to expand our awareness campaign by funding television and radio spots, which have been airing in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area over the past month. Our plan is to continue to expand our awareness initiatives and would like to take our campaign to a national level. We are currently seeking organizations and pursuing a concept of creating chapters/divisions in other cities. We are also focusing some efforts on speaking opportunities with local and non-local organizations.
