In an environment that fosters true friendship, we develop the leadership and personal skills of youn people ages 20 to 40, while providing exceptional community service.

Description:
The Jaycees are an International organization for people ages 20 to 40. The Jaycees offer programming to enable our members to develop leadership skills and make business contacts. Over 65 projects are conducted each year and through this participation, members learn management skills, problem-solving, budgeting, and team building. In addition, a multitude of social opportunities exist and travel to other chapters across the state and nation is available. Yearly projects include community programs such as Dances at Redwood Center, a Veteran's Day essay contest, candidate's forums and a Youth Scholarship for Boone County HS students and fundraising for Make A Wish Foundation. Fundraisers include concessions at the Kentucky Speedway. The chapter is active in City of Florence and Boone County government events also. An annual Holiday Prayer Breakfast is put on for the community to honor local clergy.
